Frequently asked questions
Everything founders usually ask us before they email, answered the way we would answer them over that email: plainly, specifically, and without a single "it depends" left doing all the work.
We plan, build and run customer acquisition funnels for SaaS founders. That means one engineered system covering all six stages of the customer journey, from being found to being recommended, powered by AI-infused automation and steered by human strategy. You keep building product; the machine sells it.
Treating customer acquisition as an engineering problem rather than a talent show. We map the exact journey a stranger takes to become a paying customer, build a measurable system at every stage of it, then optimise against the numbers. Demand is not found or hoped for; it is manufactured, on schedule.
Owned channels first: search, answer engines, your website, email sequences, lead magnets and referral loops, plus organic social where your buyers actually spend time. The channel mix is decided by your funnel map and your numbers, not by fashion.
The system drafts, our strategy directs, and the voice is yours. AI-infused engines produce and publish at a cadence no human team could match, trained on your positioning and tone, with human judgement over what goes out. Generic content is invisible content, so nothing generic leaves the building.
We build owned, compounding channels first. Rankings, answer-engine presence and an email list are property; paid ads are rent, and rent only ever goes up. Where the maths genuinely supports paid spend we will use it deliberately, but we will never make rent your foundation.
Answer Engine Optimisation: being the answer AI assistants give when your buyer asks ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google's AI what to use. A growing share of buying research now happens inside those tools, and most SaaS companies are invisible there. Structured, question-shaped content puts you inside the answers your competitors are missing from.
When the funnel needs it, yes. Landing pages, lead magnet tools, onboarding flows and conversion pages are routinely part of a deployment, and this site, including the Leak Finder, is our own build. We are not a brochure-site design agency though; we build the things that make a funnel convert.
Generate: strangers discover you. Capture: they hand you a way to reach them. Work: automated nurture warms them. Convert: they become paying customers without friction. Retain: they activate and stay. Grow: they expand and refer. Every customer you will ever have takes that walk, and we engineer each step of it.
Because "marketing" hides the leaks. Traffic with no capture, leads with no nurture and trials with no activation are three different problems with three different fixes, and one vague label lets them all leak at once. Six measured stages mean we always know exactly where revenue is escaping and what to fix next.
Agent systems that draft, publish, score leads, follow up and report, running continuously under human strategy. It does not mean pasting your brief into a chatbot. The machinery works around the clock, the judgement stays human, and we run these systems on our own brand before we ship them to anyone else.
Yes, outright. The funnel, the content, the automations, the data and the accounts they live in are yours, not rented from us. If we ever part ways, everything keeps running and you keep all of it.
Honestly: it compounds rather than spikes. Strategies we have deployed have returned revenue within their first month live, but organic stages like search and answer-engine presence typically build over months, which is exactly why they start first. Every stage is measured from day one, so you see what is moving and why instead of waiting on a promise.
A few focused hours during the build: strategy, your voice, product access and opinions where they genuinely matter. After launch, the entire point is that the system does not need you daily. If your marketing still requires the founder every morning, we have failed.
Eight taps and one slider, about sixty seconds. Your answers score all six funnel stages out of ten, and your MRR turns those scores into modelled £ per year leakage per stage using stage weightings and published SaaS benchmarks. You get the full report on screen instantly: scores against benchmark, the order to fix things in, and the first fix for your three biggest leaks.
They are modelled estimates, not an audit. Each figure is calculated from your own answers and stated MRR, using stage weightings and published SaaS conversion, activation and churn norms, and the model is explained on the report itself. Treat the numbers as a well-informed directional signal; the audit is what we do together.
Exactly what our privacy policy says. Your submission (email, MRR, stage scores, verdict and your opt-in choice) is stored securely so we can deliver your report and follow up on it, and your IP address is used only for rate limiting. We do not sell data, we run no third-party ad trackers, and you only get marketing email if you ticked the unticked-by-default box. Ask us to delete your record and we will, promptly.
Yes. Every stage scored, benchmarked and priced, the fix order, and the first fix for your three biggest leaks: free, on screen, no call booked. What we hold back is the deployment blueprint, the channel mix, tooling, builds and sequencing, because that is the part we get paid to do.
Two reasons. A stage marked "sealed" is not leaking meaningfully at your scores, so there is nothing to fix. And we only prescribe the first fix for your three biggest leaks by modelled £ impact, because starting with more than three fixes is how nothing gets fixed.
One bespoke setup fee to design and build the funnel, scaled to the scope of the project: small scope, small fee. Then a monthly retainer to run, maintain and relentlessly optimise the machine. You get a fixed figure and a full written scope before anything starts.
They pay for different things. The setup fee covers the heavy engineering: strategy, funnel architecture, builds and wiring. The retainer covers what makes it compound: content cadence, experiments at the weakest stage, and optimisation against your numbers. A funnel that is built and abandoned decays; one that is run compounds.
There is no standard lock-in. Terms are agreed in writing, per engagement, before any work starts, so you will know exactly what you are committing to and for how long. Our preference is simple: we would rather earn next month with results than bind you to it with a contract.
You keep everything: the funnel, the content, the automations, the data and the accounts they live in. It is your machine, built to keep running without us. We hand over cleanly, and anything we manage on your behalf transfers to you.
SaaS founders who can build excellent product but have no acquisition system, and would honestly rather keep it that way. If you want to engineer software while a machine engineers your demand, you are exactly who this was designed for.
We are the wrong agency for most people. If you want a viral moment rather than a system, need committee sign-off on every headline, or believe marketing starts once the product is "finished", we will frustrate you and you will slow us down. Systems, speed and honesty about the numbers are non-negotiable here.
Two doors. Run the free Leak Finder and reply to your report, or email hello@wrightadvisory.co.uk with what you have built, your price point and where you think it leaks. We reply with what we would deploy, in what order, and what it would cost. The plan comes first, the invoice second.
Mapping before building: your buyer, your funnel as it stands, your numbers as they actually are. Then the build starts in priority order: the biggest leak first, analytics wired in so nothing is a matter of opinion, and the generation engine started early because it is the slowest stage to compound.
In plain English, against the numbers: what moved, why, and what we are doing next. Every stage of the funnel is instrumented, so progress is visible rather than asserted. No vanity dashboards, no forty-page decks.
Our secondary offering: deploying the same agent systems that run our marketing funnels into other parts of a business, automating workflows such as operations, reporting, support and follow-up. We run these systems on our own company first, then deploy them for clients.
The marketing service is a complete outcome: a funnel designed, built and run for you. AI automation is broader plumbing: taking processes your business already runs and making them run themselves. One sells your product; the other gives you your time back.
Yes, and they compound: the funnel brings customers in while automation absorbs the workload that growth creates. Most engagements start with one and add the other once the first is proving itself.
Wright Advisory is the trading name of Wright Operations Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 14550836), based in Stoke-on-Trent. The site you are reading, and the systems running behind it, are our own build: Case Study #001.
Because we refuse to sell what we have not built for ourselves. This website runs the exact method we deploy for clients: the funnel structure, the answer-engine-ready pages, the Leak Finder capture asset and the automation behind it. We publish the teardown so you can inspect the machine before you buy one.
We are based in Stoke-on-Trent, England, and engagements run remotely by default: the systems we build live online, and so does the work. If you have a SaaS product and a leaky funnel, geography is not the obstacle.
