Cookie policy

The short version

This site sets no cookies. None. No analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no fingerprinting, and nothing stored in your browser's local storage. That is why you have not been asked to click a consent banner: there is nothing to consent to.

The meter on the homepage

The "enquiry likelihood" meter you may notice on the homepage is calculated inside your browser from your time on the page, scroll depth and interactions. It uses no cookies and no storage, sends nothing to our servers, and resets completely when you leave. It exists to make a point about measurement, not to track you.

Third-party requests

Pages on this site load the Montserrat typeface from Google Fonts. That is a font file request to Google's servers, which involves your IP address as with any web request; in our implementation it does not set cookies. The Leak Finder submits data to our own API only, and only when you choose to submit it; see the privacy policy for what happens then.

If this ever changes

If we ever introduce anything that stores information on your device, this page will say exactly what, why and for how long before it happens, and we will add a consent mechanism where the law requires one.
